If students are taking part in volunteering, it is important to capture the learning from  their involvement.

Colleges have a range of processes and tools for capturing learning such as Reflective Techniques, Individual Learning Plans, E-Portfolios and Personal Development Plan.  These could be adapted to embrace Learning By Volunteering.
